A Wet December
Slish-slosh.
Wet December.
Pitter-patter.
And the days will be better.
We moved on, back into our different lifestyles.
Final week of the semester edges in, which students rush for deadlines and we the lecturers kept busy with marking (and I'm dreading the day to compile all grades, knowing in this line, it's a daunting task to judge students by their creativity, skills, progress, attitude. It's never 'A is A, B is B') which is why I can't stay for long. And I know there's no turning back.
Went down to Singapore (a sudden plan) last week – to visit Design Fest is a good excuse to experience travelling alone. Also partly because I had hoped to meet up with someone.
It was only for 2 days, but I feel accomplished. Checked out the main city centre and its design activities, witness a fight upclose, almost got conned, bought books, took photos and totally in full approval of their public transportation and pedestrian-friendly streets. Am not decided yet on whether I prefer to be on my own or with my friends. Both are equally packed with anticipation and excitement in their own ways. Somehow came back with a sprained ankle, but all's well. I'm walking normal again.
Finished Marina Lewycka's Two Caravans.
Travel, life stories, romance sprinkled with a little politics and plenty of humour.
It's good to pick up a book back, love. I think somehow I relate myself a lot to Irina.
And finally, I was able to catch up with the last four episodes of my recent favourite Kdrama together with my sister and I must say, it's worth the wait after 3 long weeks. Shin-woo hyung! Watching it, I want to be in love, more than ever. My only hurdle – I think too much of what will happen next.
Dear me, December already.
Four semesters more.
Fly, plane, fly.

Goodbye
Mere words just couldn't describe.
You were a part of my life.
May you rest safely and peacefully.

I haven't been writing for a month...
...so while I have the mood to it, here goes.
Plenty happened.
Classes are as usual.
Had started on an internal project two months ago.
Handling some 'assignments' outside college.
Went to a few places out-of-town.
Met up with people.
Did silly stuffs.
Wasted ample time.
Planning for bigger things in my life.
Getting new goodies soon.
Dreaming of many things.
...
I tend to get tired easily these days, even if I had more than enough of sleep. Maybe I wasn't really doing things that I enjoy doing. I can't lie to myself, not sure if I still have what it takes. Still not good at time management. Can't really boss people around. I'm taking things for granted nowadays. Not sure if I'm still at the top of my game. More often than not, I wanted to run away and be reckless. But I always knew I can't bear with the consequences after it. Just not that kind of person. I think I'm feeling a little down, yet knowing that it's better to get over it and move on. Buck up, don't find excuses for yourself.
Ah, rant rant rant.
I wonder how many people will actually read rants. Confusing rants at that.
Other than this, I don't know what else to write.
Things have become (or had to be) a little more general and less personal, eh?
I reveal too much, I lose.
I keep it in too much, I lose.
I shut my mouth and stop blogging, lose. Again.
Nyah.
A month of absence and I'm talking about 'me, me, me'?
Wow. I never knew I had that in me.
And you know I'm joking.
Yeah.
Sighs.
Deng.

It's way overdue...

Hmm. What's brewing?
Shuey said I owe her two blog posts.
Yikes. I think there are more than two.
Hari Raya Aidilfitri is here.
Selamat menyambut Hari Raya, semua!
Been to Bangkok for a few days, but yet to blog about it.
My photos are stored in the office computer. Too many.
And thanks to Shuey, I managed to catch DT and Khalil at T Music Festival two weeks ago. Not many photos, but there are a selection of videos. Selected ones because my camera's limited storage. It was a great night, though delayed because of unexpected blackout. And it has been ages since I experienced live performances from DT. Couldn't contain the fangirl in me. :D
The new semesters has started. We're marching into the 3rd week now. New students, new tasks and a new colleague from Switzerland! I'm not sure about what others see, but I seem to be slacking with my duties. Not enough motivation? Maybe. I dunno.
Sighs.
I'm missing papa. Though we still can chat online, but without his presence at home...it's incomplete. Not that I am weeping over it. I'd do my best to be around my family at these moments, so here I am...in front of the computer on a beautiful holiday.
